Welcome to our home base in Petoskey, Michigan. This is where Mackinaw Trail Winery & Brewery makes its wine and craft beer, on rolling hills within the Tip of the Mitt American Viticultural Area. Stop in for a tasting of our wine, beer and hard cider, grab a small plate, and settle in with a friend. We’re a family-owned winery, and we started back in 2004 in Manistique, Michigan.

What You Can Taste
We pour our own wine, small-batch craft beer and hard cider, and we offer tastings seven days a week. Have a look at what’s on right now:
- Wine Menu – dry whites, dry reds, sweet wines and ice wine.
- Beer Menu – pilsner, lager, IPAs, stouts and seasonal beers, plus hard ciders.
- Food Menu – small plates like focaccia, hummus, cheese plates, a chicken salad croissant and a smoked whitefish pate. We also offer house-smoked specials on weekends.

Is there food at the winery?
Yes! We offer small plate appetizers and house smoked specials on the weekends.
Are you pet friendly?
Yes we are! We allow pets on our outdoor patio but unfortunately we do not allow them inside our tasting room.
Do you offer wine tastings?
We do offer tastings 7 days a week of any of our wine, beer, and hard cider.
Do you take reservations?
We operate on a first come first serve basis. However, if you are a party of 8 or more or scheduled to visit it us on a private tour that is booked with a bus company, we ask that you call ahead and let us know. We just want to ensure that we are staffed appropriately and can efficiently serve your group in a timely manner.
Where do all your grapes come from?
All of the grapes that we use to produce our wines are estate grown on our vineyards.
Is your winery family owned?
We are family owned and operated! Our family started Mackinaw Trail Winery & Brewery in 2004 in Manistique, in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
